Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a Behavior Support Specialist to collaborate with teachers and leaders to support students with intensive behavioral needs.

You will provide customized behavioral support and work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering holistic guidance and interventions. The role involves developing and implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans, monitoring progress, and contributing to quarterly reports.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• Behavior Specialist License required.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification.
• Uphold student privacy and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff to support students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Provide supervision and professional development to behavior technicians.
• Create and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans and Skill Acquisition Programs.
• Monitor and document behavioral incidents; complete quarterly progress reports.
• Utilize PBIS strategies and school incentives to encourage positive behavior.
• De-escalate situations and apply crisis management techniques when necessary.
