Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education is required.
• Michigan teaching certificate with the appropriate elementary endorsement is required.
• Experience delivering standards-aligned instruction for K-5 learners is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to collaborate with families and colleagues to support student success.
• Proficiency in integrating instructional technology in instruction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans for K/1 students.
• Create an inclusive, structured classroom environment that promotes engagement and respect.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners and needs.
• Assess student learning using varied methods and data to guide instruction.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate academic records.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and behavior.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum alignment and school initiatives.
• Participate in IEP/504 and other student support meetings as required.
