Amway Grand Plaza, JW Marriott Grand Rapids is hiring for a Laundry Attendant to manage daily laundry operations, maintain records, and support Ada Linen. You will train across stations such as ironing, washers, and dryers, and ensure a clean, organized work environment while upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate all Laundry department equipment.
• Work across Laundry areas including feeds, ironing, washing, drying, and chute room.
• Attend departmental meetings and follow SOPs.
• Follow the handbook and daily planner instructions.
• Complete daily tasks and keep areas clean and organized.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards and safe operations.
• Weekend work is required for this role.

This is a full-time position requiring weekend availability.

SUMMARY:

Run the day to day operation of the laundry and Ada Linen to make sure that they are ran efficiently and productively. Maintain all paperwork and recordkeeping of Ada Linen weight.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Learn how to operate all of the equipment in the Laundry
• Learn how to work in all of the laundry different area ( Feed and catch on the Iron ,run the towel machine, learn how to run the washer and driers and learn how to work in the Shute room.
• Attend departmental meetings.
• Follow AHC handbook policies and standard operating procedures.
• Reads or listens to Daily Planner.
• Complete all daily responsibilities/cleaning task list.
• Maintain a positive work area
• Work with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Ensure proper productivity and quality standards are keep
• Ensure all policies and procedures are being adhered to
• Make sure work area is keep clean
• This position requires weekend work, as it is essential to the role. If you are unable to work weekends (Saturday and Sundays) you would not be eligible for this position.
