Qualifications

• A strong commitment to the positive development of the tennis program at TCA.
• Ability to instill teamwork and community within a group of athletes pointing them to Christ.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with high school athletes in tennis.
• Knowledge of the sport of tennis.
• Ability to build a good rapport with student and parents.
• Agree with and support TCA's Doctrinal, Biblical and Mission statements and Christian values.

Responsibilities

• Plan, attend and organize off season and regular season practices (mix between AM/PM).
• Plan warm-up, conditioning, tennis drills for practice.
• Coordinate with Varsity Tennis Coach on developmental plan for players.
• Attend pep rally when Upper School tennis team is recognized.
• Document and plan weekly character lessons with Team Chaplain.
• Attend all JV tennis matches.
• Assist with tennis uniforms ordering.
• Assist with tennis tryouts for Upper School tennis teams (Fall).
• Organize and run parent meetings.
• Communicate with parents on a weekly basis (scheduling, updates).
• Ability to motivate and improve performance of athletes.
