Job summary

Trinity Christian Academy seeks a Junior Varsity Tennis Head Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Role begins January 2027 and runs through April 2027, with responsibilities across practices, matches, and character development in a faith-centered school community.

You will mentor student-athletes, emphasize academics, and uphold the school’s doctrinal and mission values while coordinating with the athletic department to support a growing tennis program.

Qualifications

• Commitment to the positive development of the tennis program at TCA.
• Ability to instill teamwork and community within a group of athletes pointing them to Christ.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with high school tennis athletes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, attend and organize off season and regular season practices.
• Plan warm-up, conditioning, drills for practice.
• Coordinate with Varsity Tennis Coach on development plans.
• Attend pep rallies when the Upper School tennis team is recognized.
• Document and plan weekly character lessons with Team Chaplain.
• Attend JV tennis matches and assist with uniforms and tryouts.
• Organize and run parent meetings and communicate weekly with parents.

TCA’s Athletic Department utilizes sports and competition to teach transformational, life-giving biblical truths to each student-athlete.
