Job summary

Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, TX is seeking a dedicated Varsity Softball Pitching Coach for the 2026-2027 school year, January 2027 through May 2027. This part-time role supports the Athletics Department by guiding pitchers and emphasizing academics and Christian values.

You will attend practices and games at multiple levels, help with equipment and tryouts, and mentor student-athletes, fostering teamwork, faith, and character in a competitive, faith-centered program.

Qualifications

• Commitment to positive development of the softball program.
• Ability to instill teamwork and community within athletes toward Christ.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with student-athletes in softball.
• Knowledge of the sport of softball.
• Ability to build rapport with students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist and attend softball practices during the regular season.
• Plan warm-up and conditioning drills for practice.
• Attend Varsity, Junior Varsity and Middle School softball games.
• Assist with ordering for all softball uniforms.
• Assist with softball tryouts for Varsity, Junior Varsity and Middle School.
• Manage miscellaneous items.
• Assist with organizing parent meetings.
• Motivate and improve performance of athletes.
