Job summary

Felician University in Lodi, NJ, seeks a dedicated Junior Varsity Softball Coach and Athletics Assistant. You will train, direct, and supervise JV student-athletes and manage program operations under the Head Softball Coach.

Outside the JV season, you will assist the Athletics Operations Coordinator with events, facilities, rentals and maintenance, supporting the department and Franciscan values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of collegiate coaching experience.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; role model for student athletes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-developed organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent physical condition, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
• Demonstrated ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA Division II and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) rules and regulations.

JV Softball Coach and Athletics Assistant

STAFF FULL TIME Lodi, NJ, US

Salary Range: $35,000.00 To $40,000.00 Annually

Felician University is presently offering an exciting opportunity for an energetic and goal-oriented individual with coaching experience in collegiate softball to serve as the Junior Varsity Softball Coach and Athletics Assistant. Reporting to the Head Softball Coach, the Junior Varsity Softball Coach and Athletics Assistant is responsible for the training, direction and supervision of the student athletes participating in the Junior Varsity Softball Program, as well as the execution of the operational aspects of the program. Outside of JV Softball season, s/he supports the Athletics Operations Coordinator on the day-to-day management of all aspects for the Department of Athletics, including but not limited to: special events, tournaments and facility rentals and maintenance.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related field required; degree may be waived with significant practical coaching experience
