Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; may be waived for extensive practical experience in the field.
• 2+ years’ successful soccer coaching experience; knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of student athletes; strong communications and leadership skills.

• Serve as a primary instructor for players and assist Head Coach in all aspects of the program.
• Assist in practices, training and competition planning; help coordinate travel arrangements for away games.
• Identify and recruit potential women’s soccer student-athletes; manage email, phone and mail correspondence; monitor academic progress.

Felician University is presently offering an exciting opportunity for an energetic and goal-oriented individual with coaching experience in collegiate women’s soccer to serve as the part-time Assistant Coach for our dynamic women’s soccer team. The Assistant Coach serves as a primary instructor for players, as well as assisting the Head Coach in the supervision all aspects of a NCAA national Collegiate Women’s Soccer program. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Assistant Coach assists in the preparation and execution of individual and team practices, training and competition; making travel arrangements for away competitions; identifying and recruiting potential women’s basketball student-athletes, including email, phone and mail correspondence; monitoring players’ academic progress; complying with all aspects of the Felician University Coach’s manual.

Required Education:
