Qualifications

Coaching experience at high school or college level required.
Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in a current CPR/First Aid course.
Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee for Loudoun County Public Schools.
Prefer a Virginia Teaching License candidate or a full-time classified employee for Loudoun County Public Schools.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining high academic standards for all student athletes.
Assist athletic director and principal in hiring/retention of assistant coaches.
Direct, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches for the sport.
Coordinate with athletic director to ensure proper insurance coverage for athletes.
Collaborate with head coaches to operate a balanced athletic program.
Foster values of athletics, sportsmanship, and pride in self, team, school, and community.
Direct training, conditioning, and performance of varsity team and supervise assistant coaches.
Be a positive influence on staff and team behavior.
Be present at varsity contests and participate in junior varsity and freshmen events as possible.
