Tuscarora High School is seeking a Lacrosse assistant coach to support the lacrosse program for the Spring season (February–May). You will work with the head coach and athletic department to ensure a well-structured program and positive athlete development.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to school guidelines, equipment recommendations, and fostering sportsmanship and school pride among players. Attendance at staff meetings is required.

Qualifikationen

• Coaching experience or participation in the sport at high school or college level.
• Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in training.
• Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee for Loudoun County Public Schools.
• Prefer a Virginia Teaching License candidate or a full-time classified employee for LCPS.

Aufgaben

• Work cooperatively with the head athletic coach to operate a well-structured program.
• Collaborate with the athletic department and attend staff meetings during the season.
• Carry out duties designated by the head athletic coach.
• Recommend equipment and supplies for the sports program.
• Suggest disciplinary actions for players violating rules and procedures.
• Foster sportsmanship, pride in the school and community among athletes.
• Perform other duties related to assistant athletic coach as requested.
