The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a Juvenile Justice Specialist Supervisor for the North Central Secure Treatment Unit in Danville. Qualifications

Three years of experience in the care, custody, activities, or personal guidance of adolescents or adults in human services, social services, law enforcement, correctional, educational, community or military settings.
One year of experience as a Juvenile Justice Specialist or equivalent Federal Government title, as determined by the Office of Administration.
An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

Safety oversight to maintain a secure environment.
Direct residents during hygiene, meals, recreation, and treatment activities to support routines.
Model positive values and guide residents toward responsible decisions.
Train, observe, and supervise staff to improve care and programming.
Intervene in emergencies, resolve complaints, and address disciplinary concerns.
Communicate updates on resident behavior and environment to maintain consistency of care.
