Responsibilities

• Screen and review all cases in the district and juvenile courts for Diversion eligibility.
• Identify cases for placement in Juvenile/Youthful Diversion by speaking with police and the ADA.
• Coordinate and facilitate Community Collaborative Initiative meetings with schools, police, probation and state agencies.
• Assist Assistant District Attorneys with priority prosecution and case management.
• Manage all case information for youth and families in the Diversion program.
• Coordinate services including counseling and restitution Monitoring.
• Attend Juvenile Court proceedings and participate in community groups and task forces.
• Collaborate with police, court staff and community agencies to ensure effective procedures.
