Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years experience in residential, correctional, behavioral health, or group home setting with related responsibilities; OR 3 years in Probation and Parole.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Criminal background restrictions per state and federal law.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily youth and staff movement, ensuring safe, secure transitions and custody.
• Maintains security operations, conducts rounds, enforces policies, and prepares shift reports.
• Supports audits and policy development with safety staff and officers.
• Contributes to treatment efforts through meetings and behavioral observations.
• Responds to emergencies with proper documentation and procedures.
• Supervises and develops staff; manages evaluations and training needs.
• Acts as shift leader and provides 24-hour on-call coverage.
