The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a Court Designated Worker in Covington, KY, to support youth and families in the juvenile justice system. The role includes intake, assessment, diversion, referrals, and case management within a team that partners with courts, schools, law enforcement, and community providers.

The position requires an associate degree in a related field and one year of relevant experience, with opportunities to travel statewide and participate in ongoing trainings.

Formación

• Associate degree in a job-related field (e.g., human services, criminal justice, psychology, sociology).
• One year of job-related experience with youth and families or in the juvenile justice system.
• Substitution: two additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsabilidades

• Process juvenile intakes, enter referrals, and generate complaints.
• Conduct interviews and complete risk and needs screenings.
• Determine diversion eligibility and develop intervention strategies.
• Develop diversion agreements and monitor compliance with programs.
• Provide case management and coordinate referrals to resources.
• Maintain case records and prepare court documents and reports.
• Collaborate with courts, schools, law enforcement, and families.
• Travel within the region to attend meetings and trainings.
• Participate in on-call coverage and guardianship-related duties.
