Job summary

South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) is seeking an entry-level specialist to provide case management for youth under diversion, intake, probation, or parole supervision. You will interview youth and families, assess needs, and develop comprehensive supervision plans.

You will monitor compliance, coordinate with service providers, and advocate for timely appropriate interventions while maintaining case files and participating in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of juvenile justice laws and regulations.
• Ability to organize and maintain a caseload.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary case manager for youth referred to DJJ.
• Conduct interviews and assess youth strengths/needs.
• Monitor compliance with court orders and develop supervision plans.
• Advocate for youth and families to access services.
• Maintain JJMS data and related documentation.
