Job summary

The Administrative Office of the Courts (Commonwealth of Kentucky) is seeking Court Designated Workers for SHIFT positions in Jefferson County. Duties include intake, assessment, diversion, and case management for youth and families in Kentucky's juvenile justice system.

Positions work in a rotating shift and travel within the assigned region as needed. Required are an associate degree and 1 year of related experience with youth.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of job-related experience, to include working with youth and families, human services, criminal justice, and, or, the juvenile justice system.

Responsibilities

• Process juvenile intakes, including entering new referrals and generating complaints.
• Conduct interviews and complete risk and needs screening.
• Determine eligibility for diversion and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
• Develop diversion agreements and monitor compliance with program requirements.
• Provide case management services and coordinate referrals to community resources and treatment providers.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation in accordance with statutes, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare reports, recommendations, and other required court documents.
