Job summary

The 16th Judicial Circuit of Missouri is seeking a trustworthy control room clerk to maintain security in a juvenile detention facility. You will monitor entrances/exits, screen visitors, and log visits to ensure safety for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include operating cameras, handling juvenile data, and coordinating court-related information while following federal, state, and local regulations. Applicants must meet minimum education and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus one year of experience in law enforcement, corrections, or security preferred.
• Some work experience involving personal computer operation.
• Ability to follow laws, regulations, and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Control access in and out of the detention facility.
• Screen visitors and log their visits.
• Operate and monitor cameras and intercom systems.
• Enter juvenile information from intake to discharge.
• Conduct criminal records checks for various agencies and departments.
• Follow facility security procedures and report needed repairs or malfunctions.
