Job summary

Hyundai MOBIS GA in Georgia seeks a CKD Material Purchasing Specialist to ensure a continuous supply of parts for JIS production. You will manage inventories, issue POs, coordinate with suppliers, and support trial builds and status reporting.

You will oversee customs, logistics, and demurrage, maintain ERP data in SAP, and prepare shortages reports. The role requires a high school diploma, 0–3 years automotive experience, and native Korean-English bilingual communication.

Qualifications

• Native or fluent bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (written and spoken).
• High School Diploma or GED is a baseline; Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics is highly preferred.
• 0 to 3 years of automotive industry experience for specialists.

Responsibilities

• Material Ordering & Inventory: Requisition and track part inventories to meet Just-in-Sequence (JIS) production demands and monitor trial builds.
• Customs Clearance: Monitor import trade policies, coordinate with customs brokers, verify HS-codes, and maintain shipping documents.
• Logistics & Demurrage Management: Track shipping containers in transit, at ports, and at plants; manage port detention and demurrage costs.
• Shortage Reporting: Present reports on part shortages and expedite delivery to prevent downtime.
• System Management: Maintain accurate material data and financial transactions in SAP and supplier portals.
