Job summary

The Junkluggers of Central Jersey is seeking a friendly Junk Removal Specialist to be the customer-facing face of our service. You’ll safely load and transport unwanted items, educate customers on our eco-friendly value, and work with donation and recycling partners to dispose of items the green way.

Join a team that values safety, efficiency, and community impact. You’ll operate on-site with daily truck checks and collaborate with leadership to continuously improve our service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers and team members.
• Educate customers on Junkluggers services and value.
• Safely load, transport, and unload items for removal.
• Collaborate with donation, recycling, and disposal partners.
• Make routing decisions to donate/recycle efficiently.
• Perform daily truck/equipment checks and report issues.
• Support guerrilla marketing to win new business.
• Partner with leadership to pursue continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Treat team members and customers with care and respect by providing knock-your-socks-off service.
• Educate customers on our services to demonstrate our value.
• Safely load, transport, and unload customer's unwanted items.
• Work with community donation, recycling, and disposal partners to dispose of items the green way.
• Become an operational decision maker to run your route efficiently (what can be donated and recycled and where, how to safely and efficiently complete a job).
• Help maintain trucks and equipment with daily inspections and reporting of any observed issues.
• Execute guerilla marketing tactics to win repeat business, referrals, and new customers.
• Partner with leadership to embrace, implement, and promote continuous improvement.
