Job summary

The Junkluggers of Brazos Valley is seeking a dedicated Junk Removal Specialist in College Station, TX. You will be the front-line face of our company, delivering exceptional service while ensuring safety and efficiency on each job.

You’ll educate customers about our eco-friendly services, load and transport items, and collaborate with partners to recycle and donate. This role requires adaptability and a willingness to drive operational excellence daily.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – customer-facing role
• Safety-first mindset
• Ability to learn and use technology in the field to execute job requirements, quickly and efficiently
• Ability to problem solve on the fly to get the job done
• Obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record
• Supply and reliably use your own mobile phone
• Ability to lift 75 lbs

Responsibilities

• Treat team members and customers with care and respect by providing knock-your-socks-off service.
• Educate customers on our services to demonstrate our value.
• Operate company vehicle safely. (No CDL needed. Training provided)
• Safely load, transport, and unload customer’s unwanted items.
• Work with community donation, recycling, and disposal partners to dispose of items the green way.
• Become an operational decision maker to run your route efficiently (what can be donated and recycled and where, how to safely and efficiently complete a job).
• Help maintain trucks and equipment with daily inspections and reporting of any observed issues.
• Execute guerilla marketing tactics to win repeat business, referrals, and new customers.
• Partner with leadership to embrace, implement, and promote continuous improvement.
