Job summary

The Junkluggers in College Station is hiring a Junk Removal Specialist to be the face of our team. You’ll greet customers, handle items safely, and help save the world the green way through donation and recycling.

Responsibilities include loading and transporting items, educating customers on services, operating the company vehicle, and collaborating with leadership to improve routes and processes. A safety-first mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for a customer-facing role.
• Safety-first mindset.
• Ability to learn and use technology in the field.
• Ability to problem solve on the fly.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must supply and reliably use your own mobile phone.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.

• Treat team members and customers with care and respect by providing knock-your-socks-off service.
• Educate customers on our services to demonstrate our value.
• Operate company vehicle safely. (No CDL needed. Training provided)
• Safely load, transport, and unload customer’s unwanted items.
• Work with community donation, recycling, and disposal partners to dispose of items the green way.
• Become an operational decision maker to run your route efficiently (what can be donated and recycled and where, how to safely and efficiently complete a job).
• Execute guerilla marketing tactics to win repeat business, referrals, and new customers.
• Partner with leadership to embrace, implement, and promote continuous improvement.
