Job summary

The JOY FM in South Carolina seeks a responsible junk removal and demolition technician for part-time work (20–30 hours/week). You will perform heavy lifting, operate tools, load and sort debris, and help with demolition on varied sites, mostly outdoors. Pay starts at $17/hour, with $18/hour after a 6‑month training period, plus raises, tips, and bonuses.

We are looking to hire a responsible, motivated, and hard working individual to serve in our company as a junk removal and demolition technician. This is a job that is challenging, fun, and rewarding in a company that is unique, growing, and well respected in the area. We are looking for someone who is committed and willing to grow with our expanding business. We are a small, family owned company operating from the foundation of Christian values and character and treat every employee and customer with value and respect. The position is part time, 20-30 hours per week. The position requires the person to perform a wide variety of physically demanding tasks such as lifting and moving heavy furniture and appliances, removing and loading various types of residential and commercial junk, cutting and loading trees and brush, sorting and preparing scrap metal, using a wide range of hand tools and power tools. This person will also perform demolition of different types of structures, and be required to do all types of manual labor while working mostly outside, year-round, in all weather conditions. Other than riding in the truck from job to job, the work is mostly manual labor and can be difficult at times. Every day is something a little different. This position has the promotion potential to a team leader and driver if applicable. Pay starts at $17 per hour ($18 per hour after 6 month training period).
