Southside Junk Removal & Dumpster Rentals is hiring motivated and dependable Junk Removal Technicians to help serve residential and commercial customers throughout the Metro Atlanta area.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on, physically active work and take pride in providing dependable service. Every day brings new job sites and different challenges, so we're looking for team members who are reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Arrive prepared and on time for assigned jobs and scheduled service windows.
• Safely perform junk removal, loading, hauling, cleanout, and related field services.
• Deliver professional, courteous customer service throughout each interaction.
• Assess eligible jobs onsite and provide accurate estimates within established company pricing parameters.
• Clearly explain the proposed scope of work and pricing to the customer.
• Actively work to convert onsite estimates into completed service rather than treating the estimate as the end of the customer interaction.
• When immediate service cannot be completed, ensure the accepted estimate and required information are properly documented and communicated to Dispatch/Admin for scheduling and follow-up.
• Escalate unusual job conditions, pricing exceptions, discounts, or work outside established authority before committing to the customer.
• Maintain timely communication with Dispatch regarding arrival, job progress, completion, delays, truck capacity, dump requirements, and anything affecting subsequent assignments.
• Follow established routing and dump procedures and communicate promptly when changes are necessary.
• Complete required job documentation, including photos, service notes, payment information, and job closeout requirements.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and work areas according to established standards.
• Immediately report vehicle, equipment, safety, customer, or service issues.
• Follow all company safety procedures, SOPs, and operational standards.
• Meet established expectations for attendance, safety, customer satisfaction, productivity, documentation, and estimate conversion.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic with a dependable, self-motivated attitude.
• Clean MVR background. Prepared to submit to and pass a background check.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move heavy objects in a fast-paced outdoor environment, often in excess of 100lbs.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Previous experience in junk removal, moving, landscaping, construction, warehouse work, or general labor is preferred but not required. Paid training is available for qualified candidates.
• Sales conversion experience a plus; ability to present estimates and convert opportunities into paid jobs.
