Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates machine to draw rod or wire down to various sizes.
• Loads wire on supply payoff and splices wire with a welder; pulls wire to draw block cabinet.
• Installs drawing dies, threads wire guides, and attends to annealer and take-up equipment.
• Restrings machine when wire breaks and records process results on charts.
• Cuts and checks wire samples for size and roundness; ensures quality of end product.
• Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor.
