Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering (required)
  • Advanced degree in environmental or civil engineering (preferred)
  • Engineering Intern (EI) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain P.E. in Oregon within three years (preferred)
  • 2+ years in environmental/civil/water resources engineering or related field (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technical writing skills (required)
  • Interest in surface water, stormwater modeling, and regulatory support (preferred)
  • Experience with data analytics tools and programming (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on projects
  • Perform hydrologic/hydraulic and water quality analyses for watersheds and urban drainage
  • Support stormwater and water resources project planning and design
  • Assist river, lake, and reservoir studies: data analysis, modeling, and recommendations
  • Apply Python-based workflows and GIS for data analysis and tool development
  • Support monitoring of stormwater systems and field data analysis
  • Prepare technical documents, maps, and calculation packages
  • Conduct field inspections and site reconnaissance for facility conditions
