Job summary

Angel Studios is hiring a junior UX Researcher to support its TV experience, embedded with the TV product team. You will run regular usability research across TV platforms, acting as a quality control layer to uncover friction before and after launch.

This role is a junior contributor position with training from the UX Research Manager, owning studies from planning to presenting findings and advocating for users in product decisions.

Qualifications

• Evidence of education or experience in a relevant field.
• 1–2 years of applied UX research experience preferred; internships count.
• Experience with moderated usability testing and communicating findings.
• Experience with TV or streaming products and AI-assisted research tools is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the TV Product Manager to identify, prioritize and answer research questions.
• Build a regular weekly cadence of usability testing across TV platforms.
• Scope studies, prepare plans and interview guides, recruit participants, conduct research, analyze data, share findings and recommendations.
• Moderate sessions with real users; observe confusion and nonverbal cues; ask insightful follow-ups.
• Synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations for product decisions.
• Maintain accessible research documentation and share results with cross-functional teams.
• Explore additional methods like prototype or unmoderated testing when appropriate.
• Use AI-assisted tools for tasks like transcription and synthesis, verifying outputs against data.
