Job summary

Hiredbuddy is seeking an entry-level User Experience Designer to join our product team. You will work with senior designers, product managers, and engineers to craft intuitive experiences for web and mobile apps.

You will own design tasks from research to implementation, mentored with clear growth paths. This is a remote position aligned with Eastern Time, with occasional travel to our New York office for team events and workshops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design or related field
• 0-2 years UX design experience (internships/projects count)
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design process and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work remotely with distributed team

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMs and developers to understand user needs and business goals
• Create wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mocks in Figma
• Conduct user research and synthesize insights into actionable design decisions
• Participate in design reviews and iterate based on feedback
• Maintain and contribute to the design system and accessibility standards
• Document design decisions for future reference
• Stay updated on industry trends and tools
