Job summary

IBM in Austin is seeking a UX designer to help design AI-enabled experiences from concept to implementation. You will create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes, collaborating with product management and development to translate requirements into usable solutions.

Qualifications

Portfolio of UX design projects from research through final solution.
Strong understanding of user-centered design and design thinking.
Familiarity with AI-powered experiences and generative tools.
Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.

Strong communication and inclusive design awareness.

Responsibilities

Contribute to UX design from concept through implementation with guidance.
Create wireframes, flows, mockups, and prototypes to communicate ideas.
Support AI-powered experiences, including copilots and workflow tools.
Use AI tools to explore concepts, generate ideas, and support prototyping.
Participate in user research and translate findings into recommendations.
Collaborate with Product Management and Development to translate requirements into design.
Identify usability issues and contribute to improvements from feedback and data.
Contribute to design critiques and workshops to improve quality and skills.
Contribute to design systems, UX standards, and accessibility practices.
Learn and apply trustworthy AI design principles.
Present design work clearly to peers and stakeholders.
