Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking an urban planning professional to support data-driven planning efforts across multiple infrastructure projects. The role involves gathering and analyzing data, preparing maps and exhibits, and contributing to planning studies and environmental documents.

You will assist with stakeholder engagement and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams from concept through completion. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, proficiency in GIS and MS Office,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with GIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to compile and summarize data and research for reports and presentations.
• Experience in developing planning concepts and assisting with stakeholders' input is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, analyzes it and provides reviews for use in projects.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists project team with maps, exhibits, presentations and reporting.
• Conducts research on planning-related issues, policies and concepts.
• Develops conceptual planning alternatives for urban and transportation projects.
• Produces plans, studies and environmental documents for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Supports stakeholder and public participation processes.
• Maintains project records and files.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
