Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year in insurance, medical field, or customer service.
• Medical insurance background preferred.
• 2-4 years of related experience or 2 years in an advanced admin role with attention to detail.
• Strong phone handling and active listening skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist agents with comments or questions about applications.
• Log applications and balance CWA inputs.
• Calculate modal premium and note shortages/overages.
• Inputs and maintains CWA data in database.
• Make outbound calls to verify information on applications.
• Handle inbound calls and relay outstanding requirements.
• Conduct non-medical telephone interviews when needed.
• Order and follow up on requirements pre and post-issue.
• Learn Federal vs State enrollment and guarantee issue differences.
• Provide training or mentoring as needed.
