Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Florida PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering and transportation concepts.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with clients.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Familiarity with transportation codes and FDOT standards.
• Experience with DOT projects and FDOT as a client.
• Experience with transportation modeling software (VISSIM, Synchro).
• Familiarity with GIS (ArcGIS) for spatial analysis.
• Knowledge of sustainable transportation practices.
• Experience with traffic impact studies and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, and analysis of transportation projects.
• Conduct field investigations and data collection for transportation studies.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
• Assist in preparation of project proposals and presentations.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders as needed.
• Support senior engineers and project managers in project execution and delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in transportation engineering.
• Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
