WHKS & Co. is seeking an entry-level transportation engineer to contribute to municipal, transportation, and infrastructure design projects in Minnesota.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers to prepare calculations, reports, and plans for a variety of transportation and site development projects. You will develop 2-D and 3-D models using MicroStation and OpenRoads, participate in public information meetings, and grow within a flexible, supportive, and collaborative civil engineering

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• E.I. certification or ability to take the FE exam within 6 months.
• 0–5 years of experience in transportation design.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience with MicroStation, Geopak, and/or OpenRoads Designer is desirable.
• Knowledge of MnDOT specifications and procedures is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare design calculations, reports, and plans for transportation projects (roads, intersections, interchanges, drainage, sidewalks, and crosswalks).
• Prepare design calculations, reports, and plans for municipal projects (sewer, roadway resurfacing, water mains, bike trails).
• Prepare design calculations, reports, and plans for site development (parking, drainage, subdivisions, parks).
• Develop 2-D and 3-D models using MicroStation and OpenRoads software.
• Assist with facilitating project-related public information meetings.
