WHKS & Co is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to join our team in Fargo, ND. You will work with engineers on municipal, transportation, water and site development projects, gaining hands-on experience across design calculations, reports, and plans.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to develop 2D/3D models using MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and Civil 3D. A BSCE and FE eligibility within six months are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• FE exam eligibility within 6 months is preferred.
• 0–5 years of civil design experience acceptable.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong communication and computer skills essential.
• Experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads/Civil 3D desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, reports, and plans for municipal, transportation, water, wastewater, and site development projects.
• Develop 2D and 3D models using MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer and Civil 3D.
• Assist with data collection at project sites and with technical report writing.
• Contribute to public information meetings and project coordination.
