Job summary

SEI is seeking a Junior Transactional Attorney to partner with SEI business teams and the Legal, Compliance, Risk and Corporate Development Department to structure, draft, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts for SEI group of companies.

You will work with product, operations, vendor, and client teams to ensure contracts comply with SEI standards and regulatory obligations while representing SEI's interests in negotiations. A background in financial services or fintech is a differentiator.

Qualifications

• Experience in transactional/corporate matters.
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and business needs.
• Comfort with a dynamic, often-changing environment.
• Detail oriented, flexible and a collaborative team player.
• Authorization to practice law in one or more US jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and advise on commercial contracts using SEI templates and standards.
• Educate internal clients on positions and issues during negotiations.
• Solve legal, risk and business issues arising in commercial transactions.
• Apply regulatory changes to new and existing contracts.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
• Engage in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and third party risk management.
• Maintain contract files and repositories.
