Dewberry’s Mount Laurel, NJ office is seeking an Entry Level Traffic Engineer to join its Traffic Engineering Department. You will assist with traffic studies, analyses, and design tasks for signals, ITS, and lighting following state and municipal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering required.
• EIT certification preferred.
• 0-3 years of traffic engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of engineers, planners, and technicians on roadway and transit projects.
• Perform field investigations, assisting in traffic analysis, design, and construction support tasks.
• Ability to learn planning and design aspects of projects.
• Prepare construction cost estimates and quantities.
• Design Traffic Signals and signal timings per agency standards.
• Prepare Traffic Signal plans.
• Experienced in or have the ability to learn traffic modeling.
• Familiar with or learn Synchro/HCS/VISSIM/AIMSUN/CUBE/TransCAD/ARCGIS.
