Job summary

RTX in Forest, MS is seeking a Test and Validation Engineer to support production and testing of complex electronic systems for military radar and communications.

You will develop and maintain test procedures, analyze failures, manage STE, train technicians, and present data clearly. Some travel may be required; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering or related STEM major.
• Experience using common electronic test procedures.
• Experience with test equipment.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Test Procedures.
• Root cause analysis and resolution of test failures (hardware and test environment).
• Maintenance of related STE (Special Test Equipment) and specify replacement equipment when required (obsolescence).
• Train technicians to use Test Procedures and provide written directions for trouble shooting instruction.
• Transform complex information and data into clear, concise, and visually engaging slides.
• Train entry level Test Engineers on test process.
• Some travel will be required.
