Job summary

Executive Alliance seeks a Junior Test Engineer to support product testing and development testing. You will work with and report to production and engineering managers.

He/she will be responsible for building part test setups, qualification testing, making production test jigs, and developing test routines, test software, and test automation. The role involves collaboration with design engineers, maintenance of test stations, PCB test work, and ATE test integration.

Qualifications

• Must have BSEE, electrical engineering degree or relevant military training and experience.
• Power electronics background.
• Basic understanding of analog circuit design, circuit analysis, digital circuit design and analog signal conditioning.
• Some exposure to software such as C#, embedded code development, use of debugger etc., is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with Design Engineers on issues with test equipment hardware, software, reliability, and qualification across multiple shifts and facilities.
• Support maintenance and repair of test station hardware, software, and interface test adaptors - both custom-designed systems and COTS.
• Work with factory production personnel to resolve test-related issues.
• PCB assembly & test traveler document preparation.
• Test box development and initial production run support.
• ATE test integration and development.
• When required, support the Design Engineers in troubleshooting and repairing returned products from the customers.
