Job summary

GAF Commercial is seeking a Jr Territory Manager to drive sales of the complete line of GAF Commercial roofing products within an assigned territory. You will promote to contractors, distributors and specifiers to close deals, supported by a rewarding commission program, company laptop, cell phone and leased vehicle.

Essential duties include managing a base of accounts, expanding into new chains, addressing customer issues, and supporting regional objectives while traveling within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts or a Business Discipline is required.
• 1+ year’s sales experience, building materials experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be highly motivated, energetic and able to present well to large groups.

Responsibilities

• Sell the complete line of GAF Commercial products within the assigned territory.
• Maintain an active account base and grow new accounts across wholesalers, dealers, and literature.
• Resolve customer complaints as directed by the Regional Sales Director.
• Assist Territory Manager in hitting objectives and corporate goals.
• Collaborate with Territory Manager to expand market reach with architects, owners and consultants.

The Jr Territory Manager is responsible for the sale of the complete line of GAF Commercial roofing products within the territory assigned. This exciting role will be responsible for the promotion of GAF Commercial to contractors, distributors and other specifiers in order to finalize the sale of GAF products.

This position offers an aggressive and rewarding sales commission program, cell phone, laptop, and company leased vehicle.

Essential Duties

• Responsible for the sale of the complete line of GAF Commercial products within territories assigned.
• Maintain a current account base and develop new accounts in existing chains of distribution including wholesalers, dealers, literature, and other promotional material as required.
• Responsible for resolving customer complaints as assigned by the Regional Sales Director.
• Assist with meeting Territory Manager objectives and strategies to achieve Corporate goals.
• Work in conjunction with Territory Manager to reach deeper into the market with architects, property owners, and Consultants to promote the use of GAF products.
• Attend product training sessions and trade shows as required to expand sales.

Minimum Requirements

Pay Transparency

Total Cash Compensation Range: $52,000-$71,500 (inclusive of base salary and an annualized commission target).
