Job summary

CorSource Technology Group is seeking a contract Electronic Engineer Assignment to support the Telecommunications Engineering organization (TENP). The role focuses on engineering, design, and field support for telecom facilities, including fiber optics and radio systems, in the Vancouver area.

The assignment emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, design feasibility, and preparing scoping documents and SOWs, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 6 months of telecommunications engineering experience required.
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide telecommunications scoping input for concept design documents and draft bills of materials and SOWs.
• Provide technical input regarding tradeoffs and policy compliance as a non-voting panel member.
• Perform engineering studies and document findings in formal reports.
• Assist in development of technical specifications for procurement and construction.
• Prepare final scoping documents and design packages for telecom equipment installation and testing.
