Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Systems Software Developer and Integrator (JSE) Junior to join a team that integrates new versions of Joint Simulation Environment software and conducts integration testing to determine readiness for next test levels.

The role requires experience with C++ or Python, Windows and Linux, and Git, plus strong communication and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced development environment. A DoD Secret Clearance is required or able to obtain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• 2–3+ years of C++ or Python development.
• Experience with Windows and Linux development.
• Experience with Git and code integration.

Responsibilities

• Integrate new JSE software versions and perform integration testing.
• Fix issues via hotfixes and merges using Git/GitLab.
• Develop and debug behavior scripts for JSE integration.
• Collaborate in a high-performance development environment.
• Maintain awareness of DoD security clearance requirements.
