Qualified candidates have a BS degree with 2–4 years of experience, DoD 8570 certs, and proficiency in Rust, C++, Java, and Python. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of related work experience.
• DoD 8570.1-M Cybersecurity Technician Level II or III certs (e.g., Security+ / CISSP).
• Experience using Rust, C++, Java, Python.

Responsibilities

• Develops system and network daemons for DoW cybersecurity and data protection.
• Develops end-user interfaces and system applications across hosting OSes; emphasizes usability for non-engineers.
• Conducts research in the design, development, testing, and utilization of electronic data processing software.
• Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software solutions and may include host hardware development.
• Collaborates with analysts and engineers to design systems and obtain information on project limitations.
• Determines user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems in program intent and inputs.
• Develops and integrates hardware components or host-platform modifications to support software and cryptographic protection solutions.
• Supports hardware/software integration, testing, and troubleshooting to meet performance and security requirements.
• Ensures DoW cybersecurity standards are met and analyzes requirements for feasibility.
