Job summary

KBR's National Security Solutions team is seeking a motivated Jr Systems Engineer to provide SETA support for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED). You will help design, develop, test, and deliver ground processing, mission management, and command-and-control solutions for critical national security missions.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure secure, scalable systems; contribute to risk management and lifecycle activities while expanding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and up to 5 years of experience.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence concepts, tools, and systems.
• Understanding of planning and integrating secure solutions based on policy and compliance directives.
• Experience in developing requirements for system performance, availability, scalability, and security for mid-to-large-scale systems.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Support incidents and investigations by addressing end-user needs and identifying system issues related to space systems.
• Collaborate with analysts, project leads, and customers to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability.
• Assist in developing system requirements and specifications aligned with high-level mission objectives.
• Participate in trade studies to identify improvements in system performance and architecture.
• Contribute to engineering tradeoff analyses and assist in formulating COAs considering operational constraints.
• Gather information to create technical documents supporting C2 operations.
