Job summary

SCCI is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to join our team in Dahlgren, VA. The role focuses on applying robust systems engineering processes, developing requirements for a tactical fire control system, and interfacing with software, test, CM, training and safety teams.

Collaboration with external organizations and participation in reviews are key aspects. You will help define and decompose requirements, build MBSE models, and contribute to design reviews, IPTs, WGs, PRPs and PCPs as part of a

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering/science/technical discipline.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain SECRET clearance.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements for weapon systems integrated with air, land and sea platforms.
• Apply systems engineering best practices for requirements definition and decomposition, design and implementation.
• Assess operational performance and suggest improvements.
• Communicate system plans, progress and results verbally and in writing.
• Develop MBSE models and contribute to MBSE community of practice.
• Develop solutions for SW/HW centric projects including concepts and requirements.
