Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Civil engineering or related field.
• 1 year of experience in the design and commissioning of intelligent transportation systems, security systems and/or communication networks.
• Working knowledge of intelligent transportation systems, security systems, and/or communication networks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport self to sites on short notice.
• Local to greater Boston MA, or willing to relocate to the area.

Responsibilities

• Design ITS, security and communications systems for public and private clients.
• Provide design packages that include plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Provide calculations to support designs.
• Support the implementation of these systems by providing field inspections, reviewing submittals, and responding to requests for information.
• Support the commissioning and testing of these systems.
• Research technologies to provide solutions to clients.
• Attend team and client meetings.
• Attend client site visits throughout New England and nationally.
