Columbia Technology Partners, Inc. seeks a Junior Engineer 0 to join our operations team supporting mission-critical systems in Annapolis, MD.

This is an excellent entry point for early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience in system operations, troubleshooting, and incident response while working with seasoned professionals. The role features a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• One year of engineering, technical support, systems operations, or related experience; degree may substitute for one year.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level 1 system restoration activities following SOPs and knowledge bases.
• Monitor mission systems and respond to alerts, outages, and performance issues.
• Investigate and resolve routine operational incidents using established processes.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and restoration activities.
