Job summary

ELEVI is seeking an IT Support professional to provide end-user assistance on-site in the Annapolis Junction area. Responsibilities include handling inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing systems, diagnosing basic tech issues, and guiding users through troubleshooting steps.

The role requires a security clearance with FS polygraph, a technical degree or 10 years of relevant experience, and a willingness to work Friday–Monday 12p–10pm shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required; ten years of additional system administration experience may substitute for the degree.
• Must have current and active security clearance with FS polygraph.
• Willingness to work in the Annapolis Junction area.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems.
• Log and track support requests using a help desk ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues.
• Provide step-by-step guidance for troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex issues to second-level or specialized teams as needed.
• Mentor junior staff and trainees when required.
• Install, configure, and update software on user devices.
• Assist with password resets, account lockouts, and access issues.
• Support printer, scanner, and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets.
