Job summary

American Credit Acceptance is seeking a Systems Administrator I to join our Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering team. This role targets recent graduates and early-career technologists who are passionate about cloud computing, automation, AI, cybersecurity, and modern infrastructure.

You will work with experienced engineers to support ACA's environment, including Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Windows Server, virtualization, and enterprise cloud services, learning to leverage IaC, observability,

Qualifications

Bachelor's or equivalent in IT or related field.
Zero to two years of professional experience.
Foundational understanding of Windows and Linux, virtualization, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, identity concepts.
Basic knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Microsoft 365.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Ability to follow documented procedures.

Responsibilities

Monitor health, performance, and security of cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
Assist with administration of Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, AD, Entra ID, and virtualization.
Perform routine tasks: accounts, patching, backups, health checks.
Support identity and access management with security/compliance.
Learn automation with PowerShell, Python, Git; explore IaC.
Document procedures and runbooks; assist in incidents and changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in on-call when ready.
