Our Tactical Data Links (TDL) Test Flight (TGBC) Advanced Programs test team is searching for a mid-level System Administrator to help establish and maintain infrastructure supporting multiple test programs for the United States Air Force’s (USAF) TDL Developmental Test (DT) Team.

We seek candidates with a strong foundation in system administration and the motivation to learn additional skills. Responsibilities may include configuring test setups and supporting lab infrastructure.

This position supports the 46 Test Squadron/TGBC at Eglin AFB, with travel to offsite locations. This is NOT a remote position. The support includes:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain DISA guidelines and USAF security updates.
• Apply RMF controls, STIGs, and SCAP Benchmarks.
• Manage hardware and software performance of AP lab systems.
• Build systems from Secure Host Baseline images.
• Automate systems with PowerShell scripting.
• Create and manage user accounts following policies.
• Manage local group policies.
• Install and configure software.
• Set up user environments, servers, clients, and storage hardware.
• Upgrade operating systems and perform backups.
• Develop creative solutions to complex problems.
• Use approved cloning tools for testing.
• Perform hardware diagnostics and maintenance.
• Document maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Perform troubleshooting and workstation maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve errors during tests and events.
• Develop standard operating procedures.
• Support DT enclave assessment and authorization per DoD and USAF instructions.
• Assist with additional test activities as directed.
