Job description

Position – Junior System Administrator

Location: Remote

Experience: 6 Months - 2 Years

Education: BCA / B.E. / B. Tech / MCA

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop IT infrastructure for the organization.
  2. Support and resolve IT and systems related issues reported by employees.
  3. Knowledge in Windows system, MAC, and Linux.
  4. Basic understanding of Microsoft OS internals.
  5. Experience with System Installations, Hardware Upgrades, Application Installations on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS platform.
  6. Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Shell Scripts.
  7. Knack in troubleshooting problems related to hardware / software / networking.
  8. Knowledge of Active Directory.
  9. Knowledge of Cloud (Azure & AWS) is a plus point.
  10. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
  11. Evaluate and recommend new technology as it relates to the end user.
  12. Provide IT Operational support by resolving incidents, requests, and problems associated with various IT systems.
  13. Interface with other Core Services teams to solve complex issues.
  14. Create / Maintain support solutions and documentation for service desk.
  15. Ensure ongoing communications regarding system issues/activities with all stakeholders: department executives and managers, end users, IT staff, vendors, customers, etc.

Network: Deploy and maintain site network infrastructure to ensure performance and reliability for local LANs, Internet, and corporate WAN connectivity.

Access management: Maintain accurate and updated IT Asset Management inventory to keep track of the equipment we have.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Resolution of all tickets within SLA.
  2. Active directory performance of all services.
  3. Emails and availability.
  4. Taking ownership of issues.
  5. Backup of critical services.
