Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking a Surveyor in Training to work with a Registered Land Surveyor on various projects including boundary surveys and topographic routes. You will prepare drawings from field data using AutoCAD Civil 3D and assist with deeds research, base maps, and data processing.

The role requires certification as a Surveyor in Training and strong communication and time-management skills. Typical hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Must be certified as Surveyor in Training in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings from field data, sketches, plans, specs and notes using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Review work for completeness before submitting to R.P.L.S.
• Conduct fieldwork upon request and assist with deeds research and base maps.
• Process field data into plats or Metes and Bounds descriptions.
